Since 1989, when we first opened as a daycare, Dracut Children’s Center (DCC) has been a safe, warm haven for children to learn and grow. Now, more than 3 decades on and led by a local director with over 30 years of experience, we welcome families like yours with children aged 4 weeks to 12 years to our friendly home from home. With a developmentally appropriate curriculum, we prepare your child with the skills and knowledge they will need to succeed in school and become active, productive citizens in their communities.

Meet The Team

Tracy Jackson - Program Director

Tracy Jackson has been DCC’s program director since 1999. She holds an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Aquinas College and has more than 30 years of hands-on experience working with children from infants through school age. Tracy is passionate about working with children and building relationships with their families – she finds it extremely rewarding to watch her students’ growth and development on a daily basis. She is also committed to supporting DCC’s dedicated staff, ensuring they have all the necessary tools to be the best teachers possible for our students.

Furthering her commitment to DCC, Tracy’s son attended our preschool program and continued to be part of the DCC family by working with school-age children during his years in college. Outside of work, Tracy’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her family and friends. She also loves reading, shopping, country music, walking local trails and going to the beach.

I have been working with children for more than 7 years. My son Brayden has been attending Dracut children’s center since he was a toddler. I was so impressed with his care and the staff that I asked if I could join their team! I have been working at Dcc for the past 4 years! This experience has inspired me to further my education in Early childhood growth. I am current lead teacher certified and working towards becoming director certified in hopes of one day becoming a director. I have always known that I wanted to work in childcare. I love being a part of their lives and help them learn and grow. I truly enjoy every day working with children at Dcc. I have never had a job as rewarding as this one!

I have been working in childcare for six years and I have been at DCC since 2024. I have always known I wanted to work in childcare. I have a big family and love working with children! Currently I am in college working on my bachelors degree in elementary education. I truly love working in childcare and being a part of their lives. I enjoy every day at DCC!

I joined Dracut Children’s Center family in February of 2025 and love the families, my co- teachers, Tracy our director, and Bob the owner. They make it so worth working here at Dracut Children’s center.
I have been working with children for many years. I enjoy the multi-tasking, fast pace and the success of children growing and learning. I love my job and look forward to working and coming to work each day.

Hi! My name is Sarah and have been working at DCC since 2024. I graduated from Nashua Community College back in 2019 with my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with toddlers for 5 years prior to joining the DCC family. I have one daughter who attends DCC and is in our Pre-kindergarten program. I have another daughter arriving this December 2025!! My favorite age groups to work with are infants and pre-k
